About Hasee to Pasee – With a backdrop of Mumbai, the film is about a relationship between quirky and rebellious Meeta(Parineeti Chopra) and mischievous (Siddharth Malhotra) struggling with their families to fit. The hero is not a perfect man as he has a financial problem and trying very hard to establish himself in today’s competitive world. On the other had the leading lady is so much sharp and brilliant that she doesn’t cope with such a brilliant mind. The fun and the most interesting part of the film lies in discovering how the boy and girl are thrown into situations, forcing them to grow close to each other. Both Nikhil and Meeta’s characters are well-etched out. The hero is as such good for nothing who is conflicted in matters of both his heart as well as career. While the heroine is pill popping and crazy mannered but a genius scientist who can do everything from robbing her own family to fund her research in China to repair anything from car batteries to modern gadgets. It is breezy, funny, fast-paced film with dynamic chemistry between Nikhil and Meeta with cracking dialogues.

Review: – The film is not a frothy romance but a slow love story which needs little patience from you to develop. It is film which is about the new rising star, Parineeti Chopra which is truly a delight to watch. She has the perfect comic timing among the new lot of heroines. Playing the role of a researcher who is little mad in her behavior is very convincing. She displays her perfect balance in choice of roles which is not only meaty but is also hit with audience. On the other hand Siddharth Malhotra as a regular guy truly fits in his role who you will find very irresistible to fall in love with. After the dream debut in Student of the Year, this movie is no less than an acid test for him which he passes through with flying colors. His truly a dark horse and you will surely fall in love with him. The supporting cast like Sharat Saxena and Adah Khan are successful in grabbing your attention. On the whole it is totally a Paisa Vasool Film where you never come across even a single dull moment. It is a perfect movie for this Valentine’s Day.

Music Review: – A young film starring young actors needs a fresh approach and the music duo of Vishal Shekhar knows this. The album of Hasee to Phasee has six tracks and its music directors have ensured the songs capture the right essence to woo the young crowd. The music is expressive, impressive and replete with Punjabi flavors and thus a good album to have during the wedding season. All in all, the songs of Hasee Toh Phasee are youthful, peppy, entertaining and enthralling.
