Movie Review: Imtiaz Ali’s Highway starts with a bang. It is a story of two characters belongs to two different backgrounds played by Randeep Hooda and Alia Bhatt and the whole film is about their journey. In his latest venture he use travel like artistry and take audiences to unexplored destinations of northern India and through this journey the characters explore their life. The idea is new, sketching of characters is amazing and beauty of visuals makes it delightful journey. Alia is a perfect casting for Veera and she portrays the character with full honesty and conviction and shines in her performance. Accolades must go to Hooda as well for his balanced portrayal of Mahabir, a violent man with a seemingly impenetrable exterior. The supporting cast is perfect and has delivered a tight performance.

Music Review: The music album of Highway is a combination of Imtiaz Ali, A R Rahman and lyricists Irshad Kamil and thus the expectations are high rise. It is a story about a girl who tastes freedom for the very first time in her life, so one can’t expect item numbers in the music album. The soundtracks are situational and have a classy appeal. The songs make you feel free spirited and are soulful.
